I came to the BankOnPurpose conference because I am a user of PrecisionLender at my institution and excited to learn about all the different things and collaborate with the different banks that are here to understand the pain points that everybody else is going through, understand the market and come back with some new ideas to bring back to my team.

Austin is great, when I left it was 40 degrees and raining in Maine, and when I came down here it’s 91 degrees, that was a nice change. Austin just has a great vibe to it.. it’s the perfect place for this conference.

One of the things that I notice about BankOnPurpose is actually a lot of the banks whether they’re large or small are literally facing almost identical challenges that we are. In my bank I hear our own strategy over and over again, but what I see here is out of the box thinking.

It’s more about sharing ideas than ‘Hey here’s the software, we’re going to be talking about the software the entire time’ and so it’s been really great to have a collaborative peer-to-peer conversation with a lot of the people here even though a lot of people are talking about a software or working on a software, it gets to be much bigger than that, and that’s really refreshing.
